  • "In Hebrew thinking, there are four interpretive levels to every verse. This is in contradistinction to Greek or Western thinking. In Western thinking, there are two levels of interpretation: the right interpretation and the wrong interpretation. We are trained in our culture, religious or otherwise, to think that way. In Western thinking, when we are told the interpretation of a passage of scripture and believe it, we then conclude in our minds that we have understood the meaning of the passage. If and when someone comes to us with another or different interpretation, by definition, that interpretation is wrong. Why? Because I already have the right interpretation, and if your interpretation is different than mine, by definition it must be wrong. End of discussion. I believe that too many students of scripture in our culture spend a lot of time studying the Bible for the express purpose of proving somebody else wrong. One of the fundamental differences between Hebrew thinking and Greek thinking is what we call kavanah, which means intention or motivation. In Greek thinking, we study to comprehend: to understand things. In Hebrew thinking we study to lift up and honor our Creator. A religious Western-thinking man would spend his whole life striving and struggling to be right about everything. He would fuss and fight, argue and disagree, and search the scriptures looking for the right answer, miss the daily communion with YHVH, and not recognize when He visits him." • "There is a prophecy concerning the destinies of the tribulation saints.  There are three destinies, (1) some to captivity/martyrdom, (2) some to death by the sword (Rev.13:10), (3) and some to escaping, surviving and enduring to the end (Rev. 12:17). As a shepherd of the the flock, Eddie [Chumney] is compelled to speak thusly with you and with all others who might be thinking of being involved in upholding and protecting the constitution.  He is absolutely correct to do and say this.  The job of a shepherd is to protect the sheep, and help the whole flock endure to the end (#3 destiny).   Destinies #1 and #2 lead to death, so why follow that path?  As for the revolt by the Maccabees, do we today consider what they did back then to be an example for us to follow?  The prophecies of Revelation 13:10 indicate that there will be those who will truly believe they will need to stand with sword ready (as like the Maccabees), but this prophecy reveals the tragic outcome for those who do... instead of taking up arms as did the Maccabees, we must draw near to Yahweh." (Way to Zion Forum comment by "Susan".)

  • Luk 24:25 . . . O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken. . .

  • Eze 2:7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. Eze 2:5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

  • "...for by the works of the Law no flesh shall be justified." (Paul speaking in Galatians 2:16); "But that no one is justified by the Law in the sight of God is evident..." (Paul speaking in Galatians 3:11). Compare with Deuteronomy 6:25: "Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before YHWH our Elohim, as He has commanded us."

  • "I've been informed that some of you may have forgotten to visit the tithe box. If you are unable to tithe the normal 10 percent of your income at this time, of course that is between you and HaShem, but I would urge you not withhold your first fruits for very long. The Scriptures clearly teach that by withholding, in effect, you are robbing G-d and, as a result, consequences are sure to follow."

  • Because he had already figured out his theology, Pharaoh missed the ultimate theological opportunity--an encounter with the real [Elohim]. (Torah Club Vol. 5, p. 279)

  • Obedience is the only true measure of discipleship.
  • Matt 13:41 - The Son of Man will send forth his angels, and they will collect out of his Kingdom all the things that cause people to sin and all the people who are far from Torah; CJB

  • "Sunday is our mark of authority. This transference of the Sabbath to Sunday as the day of worship is proof of the fact that we [the Roman Catholic Church] have supremacy over the canon of Scripture. It is proof also that the Protestant religions accept our authority as they all recognize the authority of the Roman Catholic Church and observe the Sunday day of worship." Catholic Catechism

  • "You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification or setting apart of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day we never sanctified." The Faith of Our Fathers by Cardinal James Gibbons

  • Mat 5:17-19 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. KJV
  • (I sure would not want to be a protestant pastor who teaches his congregation that there is no need to keep Torah because they are not "under the law"!--S.A.M.)

  • Mal 4:4 "Remember the Torah of Mosheh, My servant, which I commanded him in Horeb for all Yisra'el - laws and right-rulings." (Parting words of the TaNaKh ["Old Testament"]. Do you think it is important to Elohim that we remember the Torah?)

  • "The church today has adopted most of the customs of the heathen, it is anti-Semitic, it is anti-Torah and yet it tries to command an equivalent or higher place than the Israel of Elohim, but of course this is simply a satanic deception that lulls sinners into believing that they are "justified in their sins." -- Refiner's Fire

  • Once you know something, you're done doubting.

  • If you really want to insult somebody, know what you know; believe what you believe; and express it.

  • When Yahushua spoke, He caused division. In Genesis He divided the light from the darkness.

  • "How many times have believers been subjected to mishandled Scripture with an implicit or explicit "touch not God's anointed" if any dared to question? This is in contrast to the biblical admonition to "try the spirits". (I John 4:1). Fear is not of God and teaching which incorporates psychological intimidation is corrupt and deceptive. One of the easiest ways to determine what "spirit" motivates a person "in authority" is to question them. A godly man or woman will never be offended or become indignant if someone dares to question them and compare what is said with the Word of God. However, if one is motivated by an "authoritarian" spirit of conceit or arrogance, the questioner will soon know it." (Quote from Shamar.org)

  • Hos 4:6 “My people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being priest for Me. Since you have forgotten the Torah of your Elohim, I also forget your children.

Paul--A True or False Prophet? (Just something to think about.)

  • Pro 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

  • Joh 8:51 “Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone guards My Word he shall never see death at all.”

  • Mat 19:28 And Yahushua said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

  • Act 1:24-26 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

  • Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

  • Joh 5:31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

  • Joh 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

  • Eph 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

  • Rev 2:1-2 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

  • Most of those in the world coming to Christ opt to follow the message of Paul. They can even boast of their lack of perfection and bask in the feeling of being forgiven. Based on Paul, they are confident they are destined for heaven regardless of never truly repenting from their sin against the Law. They are sure they are heading for heaven despite blatant disobedience to the Law of [God] e.g., the duty to rest on the true Sabbath. Paul has become a magnet for the modern Christian. Jesus' message of righteousness in action, obedience to the Law, and severe repentance after failure has lost all its appeal. ["Jesus' Words Only" - Douglas J. Del Tondo, Esq. p. 83

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - Isa 62:6,7

"I have set watchmen on your walls, O Yerushalayim, all the day and all the night, continually, who are not silent. You who remember YHWH, give yourselves no rest, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Yerushalayim a praise in the earth."
