Never let reading other authors take the place of studying the Scriptures! This is my "additional reading" book list!

These are some of the books I've read and some of them I considered to be in the eye-opening and life-changing category as I commenced my journey out of pagan Christianity into the TRUTH of Yahuweh! I thought twice about making this statement because it sounds harsh, but the fact of the matter is, it will only offend those who are not lovers of the truth. Those who desire to know the truth and who love it at its appearing will not be offended. So my statement stands.

So if you are offended, you might as well stop reading now. I am not speaking to you. I am speaking to those who are true followers and disciples of Yahushua who don't mind having their presuppositions challenged. But of course, as always, be like the Bereans and search the Scriptures. I do not necessarily endorse every teaching found in these books.

Here's my take on consulting other sources: First and foremost, let the Ruach haKodesh teach you! Reading the Scriptures should consume the most of your reading time. It is only after you have done that that other sources may be consulted. It seems to me that it is better to a variety of Torah teachers, rather than just one exclusively.  The reason is because the truth is like a hologram.  Each teacher seems to have different parts of the truth, but no one has everything perfectly understood.  So in hearing a variety, the bigger picture begins to emerge as the pieces of the puzzle fall into place.

Warning: Acting upon the truth will likely result in the loss of friendships, but regardless, it will most certainly result in a change of your own lifestyle! Truth demands sacrifice! These are the days where lines are being drawn and as the wheat ripens, it will become more and more distinguishable from the chaff. If you try to warn the wicked to repent, do not be dismayed or discourged if it seems that your warnings are falling on deaf ears. Some will be called out into the light, but it is only a REMNANT. We WILL be considered heretics by the Christian Church at large. Get used to it, but stand strong!
